About the Company
The music you love from the Grammy & Latin Grammy Award-winning music duo 123 Andrés is now available as an orchestral collaboration!
This vibrant, interactive concert with 123 Andrés and your local orchestra brings the sounds, rhythms, and cultures of the Americas to life through joyful songs in English, Spanish, and ASL. Lush symphonic arrangements perform vibrant Latin rhythms, while Christina and Andrés deftly weave music, language learning, and their personal stories into an interactive journey through the Americas. Engaging visuals help families explore the geography, and everyone leaves learning something new. An authentic and joyful invitation for bilingual, multicultural and first-time concertgoers.
Designed especially for elementary age students and family audiences, it’s a fun and welcoming introduction to live orchestral music and global musical traditions. After an incredible premiere with the Grand Rapids Symphony in spring 2026, this performance has a complete arrangement for a full 60 member orchestra or can be customized to work with community or even student symphonies.
123 Andrés also has a general touring repertoire of family concerts and student matineess. To learn more, please visit here.

Outreach and Workshops
Andrés and Christina are seasoned, energetic performers and native-Spanish speakers. They can provide artist residencies, as well as songwriting and other creativity workshops for students. They can also offer professional development for educators and family workshops. Please contact us to discuss what this kind of outreach could look like for your community.
Their performances are available as a “sensory friendly” or “relaxed” performances if arranged with the company in advance and with specific direction as to what adjustments are necessary for your venue.
Minimum Technical Requirements
For a full professional symphonic orchestra, the performance would require Medium to Large venues that can fit a symphonic orchestra on stage. For smaller or alternative arrangements (e.g. community / student symphonies) the footprint could be adjusted to smaller venues.
For Full Orchestra:
-
Load In Time: 90 minutes (though additional time may be need depending on orchestra set up)
-
Crew Needs: 1 Sound Engineer/Audio Tech, 1 Lighting (roles may be combined)
-
Min Stage Size: 24 d x 40w x 12 h (whatever footprint the orchestra needs plus 5 ft in front for 123 Andrés)
-
Projector/Video Screen for visuals
-
Wing space needs: For robust video capability, a table or desk in one of the wings for our video tech, ideally with a monitor to view the stage
-
Sound Needs: Sound system for performer voices to be heard over the orchestra, appropriate to venue and audience size. Please see stage plot for more detail.
-
Load Out Time: 45 minutes (for public-facing shows, company enjoys going out into the lobby after the show to greet families, which would make the loud-out time longer. )

Press & Presenter Feedback for Around the Americás, A Symphonic Adventure
“I'm the coordinator of the Spanish Immersion Program in Kalamazoo, and I also provide Spanish reading intervention. I had the opportunity to enjoy Around the Americas with the Symphony Orchestra in Grand Rapids, Michigan, alongside my grandson, and I also attended their performance at Miller Auditorium with our K–2 students. It is a wonderful show where children learn, through music, about Latin American culture, geography, and the value of being bilingual. The energy, joy, and the way Andrés and Christina connect with students make the learning experience meaningful and memorable. In addition, I use their YouTube videos and books as part of the academic support I provide to my students. They have been invaluable resources for helping children learn letters, numbers, geometric shapes, syllables, and expand their Spanish vocabulary. Thanks to these materials, my students enjoy the process of learning a second language even more. 123 Andrés has been an extraordinary educational resource!" - Vannessa Tome, Spanish Immersion Program Coordinator, Kalamazoo, MI

Company Background
123 Andrés is the GRAMMY and Latin Grammy-winning husband-wife team of Andrés and Christina, who have performed for audiences across the US and in Puerto Rico, Panama, Mexico and Colombia.
Andrés grew up in Bogotá, Colombia, and learned how to play the guitar from his father at an early age. He had his first studio experience at age 8, and from there he went on to earn a Doctorate in music and won the National Composition Contest in Colombia for one of his early songs.
Christina grew up in the Midwest in a Spanish-speaking immigrant family from Colombia. Her love for the stage started when her mom signed her up for theater and dance as a child. After college she worked in the classroom as a public school teacher, and received a Masters in Education. When she joined 123 Andrés, she found her calling teaching through music.
123 Andrés has released ten studio albums and has been featured by The New York Times, NPR, the Washington Post, and others. Their YouTube channel has over 50 million views and 100k+ subscribers, with their songs and videos used in early childhood and elementary classrooms across the US and Latin America. Their album "We Grow Together Preschool Songs" was the GRAMMY WINNER for Best Children's Music album in 2024.
Their general concert performances are available as a duo or a full band with additional members (such as percussion, drums, and bass). Touring since 2015, they have performed in places and at venues such as:
-
Kennedy Center (Washington, DC)
-
The Smith Center (Las Vegas, NV)
-
Playhouse Square (Cleveland, OH)
-
Segerstrom Center for the Arts (Cosa Mesa, CA)
-
Tennessee Performing Arts Center (Nashville)
-
Music Festivals: Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits
Following two successful seasons of their hit PBS KIDS podcast "Jamming on the Job", Andrés, Christina, and 2024 Grammy nominee Pierce Freelon (BoomBox) brought the series to the stage as an interactive live touring show.
The duo has also created multiple bilingual books, published by Scholastic, based on their songs including Hello, Friend (Hola, Amigo) and Ten Little Birds (Diez Pajaritos). These books are perfect to connect the performances to reading and writing for the younger elementary ages.
